What my offer includes: My opening times are 7am to 6pm daily, I can care for children aged 0 to 16.
I also run holiday french clubs, written or spoken for all levels, formal or informal. These are available during the school holidays and bookable on a weekly basis. All activities are run in French and aim to immerse the child in a French environment.
I have a Dedicated playroom, allowing messy play and hours of fun. THe downstairs area is open plan in order to allow me to keep an eye on the children at all times and to give them more space to move when we are inside.The area is used for food preparation and meal times as well as those messy baking activities. (Hopefully you parents will get to sample some of our creations!) There is also a highly secure, dedicated outdoor play area. This is divided into a grassed play area where children can play with swings, a slide, see-saws and a home corner. There is also a concreted area where children can ride cycles. We also go on regular local outings to the playing fields, parks and the canal to feed the ducks all within 5 minutes walk.
The children have access to resources in both French and English as well as some other multicultural items. I organise days so that children have a wide variety of experiences. They have some independent play, where they chose games and toys and play amongst themselves, and I also organise adult led activities such as painting, baking, modeling, etc... during which I aim to expand their knowledge. Everyday has some time allocated for outdoor play either in the secure outdoor area or in the local community (at the park, feeding the ducks by the canal, and other exciting places). All the learnings are based on the new Early Years Foundation Stage statutory framework. In accordance with these guidelines. I provide parents with a development file that depicts your child's progress and learning during their time with me. This is available to see at all times and will be given to families when the children leave for school.
I endeavor to prepare all foods using a minimum amount of pre-prepared jars and sauces. I provide breakfast, lunch and tea as well as healthy snacks. I also cater for food allergies.
I provide First aid care in case of Emergencies I can pick-up and drop off to Greengates school. I can also accommodate other schools providing the times fit and there is space in the car.
